If you don't mind a state park. Wife and I stayed at Fairview Devil's Step Campground in Winchester, TN. last year on the way to Florida last October. It was around $20.00 a night. People were friendly, the lake was beautiful to sit and relax and watch the boaters and fisherman. The restrooms were clean. Not all that modern but like I said it's a state park. We took one day while there to visit the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg, Tn and the town. We then continued on our trip. We would definately stay again.
