Fred, If your interested in flat-water the New Jersey Pine Barrens may interest you ... and not that far away with plenty of campgrounds. JM2¢, Hank

Quite a few of the NY State DEC campgrounds in the Adirondacks can handle 40' rigs on some of their sites. We routinely take our 36' Cougar into them.

Northampton Beach near Northville.

Nicks Lake near Old Forge.

Fish Creek Pond between Tupper Lake and Saranac Lake.

Excellent kayaking around each of them.

There are others. Check reserveamerica.com for info on individual campsites at each campground.

How big are you? I've camped at a few state parks in NW PA with an Outback 312 BH. (36'). Lots of good kayaking on the Allegheny River from Buckaloons campground. Tionesta state park has the Tionesta Lake, and the Allegheny. Any campground in Cooks Forest Pa has access to good kayaking.

Look up Mexico, PA and find Buttonwood CG. Right on the river, they offer kayak excursions and welcome campers to bring their own.
