Any Bluegrass Players?

I play the mandolin and will be pulling our trailer to Bluegrass and old time music festivals next year.

bluegrass player

I'm not sure where you will be going to the festivals, but they are all over.
I am in Florida now (Jan 2012). Lots of music here in the winter. Going
to festival in a couple of days. I live in Virginia and attend several festivals
in and around home in the warmer season. I play dobro and my wife sings
and plays the up right bass. Bluegrass and rv's fit like peas and carrots.

Love the music "found" bluegrass after being burned out with country(new country sounds like 1960 rock and roll with steel guitars included). Bluegrass to me is true to its roots. Found out I need to play with others to improve. Which I need a lot of!!!!!
But it is exciting to see so much in the media.

Bowling Green and Franklin Kentucky have weekly bluegrass at their respective RV parks. Maybe more.

I'm sure the RV park at Renfroe Valley will break out into song at the drop of a D cord.
Keep picking
Jim
