Can I Still Use My Current Hitch?

In my current truck, I have the OEM underbed system with the pucks in the bed. My hitch is the Reese Elite 25k sold by Ford that drops into the pucks.

I'm in the process of moving to a DRW - probably a used F450. No underbed system/pucks.

Is it possible for me to move my hitch and use it in the new truck? Is there an underbed or in-the-bed system I can install that the Reese hitch will work with?

I'm not 100% familiar with the Ford puck system, but I am nearly 100% positive that your Reese head will work on any of the Reese legs. My 16k and 20k both use the same legs. If you can't use your current system with the new truck, you should be able to install rails and just change the legs on your current hitch.

I just added the underbed system to my 2012 F250. $500 for the complete kit from the dealer. Includes new bed bolts. Took the wife & I about 4 hrs total with bed removal. Only reason we removed the bed completely was because the bed bolts were rusted fast & I had to drill the heads of the bolts off. On a newer truck or somewhere out of the snowbelt, you could get away with unbolting the bed & setting it on 4x4s across the frame. http://accessories.ford.com/exterior...p-package.html
Asked the parts guy at the local dealer for his best deal. The whole kit came in 1 box, bolts, brackets, instructions & all.

The simple answer is Yes. Ford Accessories makes a kit like mentioned above to mount under the bed to accept your current Ford Elite Hitch.

I ordered my 2011 F350 SRW with a Ford 25K hitch. It sat behind the shed for 3 years until I traded the 2011 for a 2015 F350 DRW and purchased an older 5'r.

You could get a B&W Turnover Ball gooseneck installed, then get a adapter to fit in the gooseneck hole and use your hitch. Assuming your hitch has industry standard feet. It's removable and leaves a "clean" bed.
I got my adapter from Amazon at about half suggested retail price.
