So last Friday I order a Hensley Arrow. Santa in the brown suit is delivering it today. I get to put it to the test next weekend.

Honestly, seeing what happened to LeeMedic reminded me that I am fairly risk adverse. And as a dear friend (and Hensley owner) has noted on several occasions, "why risk destroying a trailer, tow vehicle or, more importantly, harming your loved ones?".
I don't want to experience that again. To me it is well worth the investment.

What made up my mind is while I am towing our NEW RV to our home we roll past another RV laying in it's side. I felt terrible about that family, and just a couple days earlier, that was me.

I called and spoke with a sales person, and made my choice. I purchased a Refurbished Hensley Arrow for $2200. It comes with a lifetime warrantee. You can purchased one for $1900 that come with a 3 year warrantee.

Just to complete the information for future readers of this thread.

NO ONE is paying $3200 for a Hensley Arrow hitch. These days they only sell used, reconditioned hitches for the same price as a new ProPride.

Nope. We've been running non-stop for the last 2 weeks. I plan on doing the install Wednesday evening after work. We are campering this weekend and the drive will be on the PA Turnpike and the NJ Turnpike, so lots turbulence from tractor trailers to test out the Hensley.

You will be thrilled! I drive a 2004 Expedition (pre-EL) and tow a Zeppelin 291 and I don't flinch when a truck passes no matter the speed. I know it's not perfect but it darn sure makes the drive much more relaxing. I did have a Reese dual cam that was fine with my old 25'er but didn't cut it on the new one.

Hey SOD, give us some feedback here. I sold my Equal-I-zer today, so there is NO turning back now! LOL

I don't have any trips planned for a couple months.

Could we start a new thread here? Seems like we are beginning to stray from the original post "Crashed our Sprinter and Learned a Lesson".
Thank you.
