Slider grinding and popping. Stuck open.

Hello. I have a 2015 Keystone Passport Ultra Grand Touring 2920BH. It started all at once. When I try to extended it out all the way. It just runs and runs. Then when trying to bring it in it just grinding noise and pops then stops and will not move any further for a while. The big problem is that I am in a out of state RV camp ground and I cannot take the trailer out of here with the slide all the way out. Would love some help.

It almost sounds like a slide with the undercarriage pinion system. But I think you've got the cable system with a stripped out gear box. If that's the case I'm not really sure. Nothing blocking the slide? Is it straight or crooked? You might try having someone hold the "In" button while standing on the outside and pushing to see if you can get it started. Can you get to the motor and try the manual override?

I'm just spitballin' here but a couple things I might try. You might need a mobile RV repair person.

Ok. This was an old post but hope to learn from your experience. So, how did you get the darn slide in?
