Welcome from the great mitten state and congrats on your "new to you" Outback.
Considering it's an 8 year old coach, I just wanted to make sure you were aware that even with very little use, there are many components and service items that need addressing throught its service life. First and foremost is a properly sealed roof membrane. This is quite critical after 8 years (possibly 9 years since its production date).
Secondly, tires. Acceptable service life on an ST tire is 3-5 years. Tires do tend to deteriorate faster when sitting idle as the oils in the rubber aren't dispersed as they are in a rolling tire. With that said, it's good practice to check the DOT "born on date" stamped on the sidewall. And remember, the aging process is less likely to show it ugly head on the exterior of the tire as they commonly self-destruct from within.
There are lots of other fun maintenance items to contend with as well (axle/brake maintenance, slide seal conditioning, and battery maintenance) to name a few. Just peruse this site for a few days and you'll bound to learn a ton.
