Unhappy Leaking Dometic awning fabric

I have a 2013 Pasport, dometic power awning, when it rains and often here in any where you want to be dry....
This darn fabric leaks along the first 1.5' of the awning, I know there has been threads about leaks at a joint at the door way, but this is different.
Any one else?

Chuck

When you say it leaks, is the leak through the stitching where the awning fabric is sewn for the retaining "rod", or between the rail and the sidewall.

Leaking awning

Hi Chuckster, and thanks for your note but not leaking at the seam, but about 6-8" from the place where it hooks onto the trailer.
I have already applied some sealer along the gutter, but that didn't do the job where it was relly leaking.any way I have contacted the Dometic company "probably deny any responcibility"?
But hey what the hech huuh?

Stay safe and have a great 4th coming UP!
