Awning rain/wind sensor ?

I have a 2014 Laredo with power awning. Is there an aftermarket rain/wind sensor that can be installed?

Does the Laredo's have the awning that automatically dips to let rain water to drain? I have seen this feature on TT but not sure if I have it.

Don't know about an auto sensor, but I believe the electric awnings all dip - just leave the arm tension knobs loose on one or both sides. At least that's how my 2010 works.

There are at least 3 different awning arm styles that I know of:

1) the arms with tension knobs as described above.

2) arms with a "joint" in the arm allowing the arm to move like an elbow.

3) arms with push in "buttons" that allow the arm to extend/retract, changing the angle.

Most common are the first two, and if you do cant the awning, best to make it square again before retracting the awning.
