Hideout door catch

Hey all

My dad picked up a new Hideout 268lhs today

When closing the door you pretty much have to slam it shut or it just swings back open. Any suggestions on how to adjust?

Thanks in advance!

Should be some adjustment at the hinges.

You can also try a bit of dry lube if the alignment of the striker/strike plate appears to be pretty good. You would be amazed what a bit of lubrication will do for a door latch assembly.

If there is a gas piston closer on the door, it may not be clearing the bottom of the screen door properly. Do some closer looking before you keep slamming the door. You may well damage something without realizing it.
