Winter battery storage

I’m going on one trip before Christmas I believe ..Destin top sail state park ...after that I’m going to put the fiver on ice for 2months. On my boats I always take all the battery’s off for the winter. Is it better to just leave my rigged plugged in and battery’s in it? Will the charger keep them from feeezing? And if I take them out what is the risk to the in command system if it’s not connected to any battery’s ? Will that deplete cmos battery on circuit board and will it lose its configuration memory?

Fully charged batteries will not freeze, at least that’s what is written on information cards in Tiffen motorhomes. If you leave it plugged in just check the water level at least once a month.

I keep the batteries in the trailer but I completely disconnect them. Every 6 weeks or so I will connect the batteries and plug the trailer in for a couple of days. Never had a problem even in subzero temps.
