Jim & Kay, thank you for recognizing our service men and women. Hats off to all who have served and who continue to serve. Our country would not be the same without your efforts and sacrifices.

Thanks for mentioning the sacrifices made by the families of our veterans. Their sacrifices often go unrecognized. This is a great country, and those of us who served and are serving are proud of our service. However, that service to our nation would be much more difficult without the support of our families.

Thank You Back....

We spent 11yrs in the Corps, thank you for your expression of appreciation! Been almost 20yrs since I got out, however still enjoy cutting the cake on the USMC Birthday (did today for tomorrow's birthday) and thinking of the current challenges and sacrifices all Service members face.

Lest We Forget

Sunday will be our day to remember as well. Canadians call it Remembrance Day in honour of the hundreds of thousands of lives that were lost in the great wars fighting along side our American friends and neighbours.
A special thanks to our vets returning home from current distant battles.
We will remember. You are not forgotten.

thank you

I too want to thank all Vets and everyone for their thoughts. What a change from the day I was there when we came back and were cursed and now. It was all for the same purpose, our freedom for our country. God bless the souls that did not return and are still missing.

Thanks for remembering all. Joe

I too want to give my THANKS to all those who serve, have served and the special families that give up time with their loved ones so we all are safe here in America. May God Bless all of you and your families for your sacrifice. I think we have some of the best Hero's that give of their self so that others can have the freedoms of life, even those idiots that oppose the military. One day hopefully they will know that all of you who serve truely did it out of love of country. God Bless..

I always take every opportunity I can to thank a vet and it doesn't have to be veterans day. So, thank you Jim & Kay for starting this thread and giving me another opportunity to say it again. Thank you to all who have served and know that I will always support the care and support of all veterans.
