Leaking slide

Hello all, we just purchased a 2020 outback 299url. Unit seems basically new. When we got it home we noticed the slide was leaking and had a lot of tree debris on the slide roof. Spent hours cleaning it, cleaned under the seals. Seals are not torn or stiff. Leaks when closed. Haven't left it open. After cleaning the roof and further inspecting it, there is one small bubble, maybe .5 x 2 inches in the rubber material. But more of a concern to me is the slide roof is wavy. This is a large slide, dinette and couch. Seems to me the gasket is not making firm contact with the roof in these areas. Are these small recesses/slopes in the roof( that run perpendicular to the TT) normal? Just wondering if this is normal, a defect or long term leak. Gasket does make contact at all points and follows the slope of the roof. Btw, this is our first camper.
Should I be able to lay a level on the slide roof and it be perfectly flat?? Thanks!

Photos of what you're asking would be a tremendous help...

As an example, "Perpendicular" Do you mean in relationship to the slide end wall, the slide sidewall, the trailer sidewall (vertical surface or horizontal surface) ???

Typically, no trailer will withstand the "place a straight edge here and the trailer is true to the smallest measurement". On the other hand, even with visual "bends and warps" it should not be leaking.

Photos would help !!!!!

Photos tonight. To add perspective to the geometry issue, if I'm am on a ladder with the slide extended on the side on the trailer looking at the roof of the slide, to my left would be the tongue, to the right would be the rear of the trailer. There appears to be slight recesses between the structural ribs. But, your correct good pictures would help.

Just FYI!
Don't use a level or square on any surface in any rv & expect to find square, level or plumb. Even IF one (it would definitely be a unicorn) was built that way one trip down our great highway systems & it wouldn't be afterwards.

Structural ribs? Are you referencing the slide out roof or the trailer roof? Those pictures will really help.

Any Ideas? Thinking of adding a slide topper and calling it a day.

From what I see the wiper seal is not pressing against the surface of the slide out roof and is an indication that it is worn out and needs replaced
