Winterizing help...Valve?

Found a valve under the masterbath sink as I was winterizing. Two pipes run up from the floor to it but its not connected to the sink. Anyone have an idea what it is used for?

Bathroom? Kitchen? Other?

A pic would help here, a lot.

OK, is it a real valve with a handle of some kind or does it look more like a vent fixture?

Does it look like this?

It may be black instead of white. This pic is shot look up from the floor at the bottom side of a bathroom sink.

If it's real similar to this, it is a vacuum breaker/anti-siphon device on the black tank flush line.

It needs to be winterized like the rest of the water system. Some folks just blow it clear with air while others pump some RV antifreeze into it. Either will work just fine.

If your using antifreeze to winterize the system an easy way to flush anitifreeze through the black tank flush line is to connect the outside shower to the flush connector input. Connect the vinyl curly shower hose that connects to the outside shower and screw the other end into the flush line input.
