2018 passport 239ml - how to change a light bulb?
Hello again, there is a light at the very front of my 2018 239 ml. It is located on the drivers side and I think according to videos I watched is intended to use when you are hooking up and getting set up at a camp site at night. The only problem is mine does not work. It has a switch on it and nothing happens when you use it. Also I cant figure out how to get into the light to see if the bulb is any good or not? I thought maybe the light switch inside the RV has to be on for the lights as well as the lights for the awning but that did not make any difference. I went into the storage part in the front to see if I can get into the light from there but there is no way in. Does anyone know how to turn this light on or does the lens pop out or...? Thanks for your help

How many RVers does it take to change a light bulb?
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Can you attach a pic of the light in question? Also, have you checked all of the switches in your interior control panel to see if there is a secondary switch?

Here is a picture of the light and my fuse box. I am missing 3 -15 amp fuses but I am not sure if they have to be there or not.

seems like that lens should pop off with a small screw driver, prying gently around the edges.
Do you have a panel of switches inside the coach? Something like this...
Sometimes, like on ours, there are active switches that aren't marked. You just need to figure them out.

Yes I have 2 switches inside beside my stereo. one os for the awning lights and one is for the other lights inside. I tried the outside light with both of those switches on but it never made a difference. I am thinking the bulb is burnt out but I don't know how to get in there. There really is no place to pry with a small screw driver and its all sealed and water proofed with no screws of any kind showing anywhere. Nice light if it works.

I had to have the dealer replace that light twice under warranty. with mine I had to jiggle the switch to get it to go on. I am on my third one now and it seems to be working. I would say it is a switch under the light issue. Your fuse panel looks correct. if you were missing a fuse there would be a little red light beside where the fuse is blown or missing.

The lens has to pop off some how. That's how it was mounted in the first place since the screws are under the lens. There's space around it for a small screw driver. Insert and gently pry either at the ends or top/bottom middle. That's what I'd do

2018 passport 239ml - how to change a light bulb?
That light went out on my 2017 239ml about month after I got it. Never used it anyway. Same as you I couldn’t figure out how to open it. Kinda forgot about it.
I ended up replacing my manual jack with an electric one which has 3 led lights on it for hitching up.

My light is exactly the same. Just pop the lens off with a flat screwdriver. It is a standard auto light bulb. The same power that feeds that also supplies power to the awning light and the dump valve light. Mine was wired wrong and the dump valve light was on all the time and the front light would go on and off with the awning/porch light switch. Quick fix but took a bit of work to figure out what they did. My power jack has a nice led light so I never use the one on the trailer anymore now.

We have a winner....JSB5717 was right. With a small flat screw driver you can gently pry the cap off and get to the bulb. I switched out the bulb and it works like a charm. Thanks to everyone that helped me out!!!
