Question RV Covers

Has anyone used the Permapro RV covers here in the North East? I am curious as to how well they hold up in both winter and summer months. Last ADCO cover I had lasted year and a half then began to tear in several locations. Just looking for you experiences.

I struggled with the same decision, and my research lead me to believe there is no cover that can really hold up to the elements for more than a year or three covering something the size of an RV.

I found cheap RV covers run around $150-$300 and good ones run $300 to $600 depending on the size RV you want to cover.

I also found that there are plenty of places to purchase steel carports from $2,000 to $3,000 installed that will cover most RVs. These carports even include 20 year warranties. So, barring any neighborhood restrictions, level space on your property or permitting issues it seems like a good investment if you'll be in the same place a while.

$150 a year for a steel carport vs $150 for a year for a disposable cover seems like a no brainer for me even if it is a significant up front expense over the fabric cover.

I've posted my experience with the PermaPro covers previously here:

I bought the ADCO cover this year and paid $75 additional for a three year warranty (was on sale for $375) , so in a few years I'll replace and put another warranty for $75.. Most affordable way for me..

Just had to wait for a good sale before I bought it, it's the Tyvek all season one.
