2015 Passport Grand Touring Bumper

Does any know how strong a bumper is on a Passport Grand Touring Bumper we want to put a 4 bike rack or hitch haul on back and trying to decide between Curt Trailer/RV 4" Bumper Hitch bolt on vs having a hitch welded on the rear of the unit,

Has any done this or had a hitch added ? welding on a hitch will effect the sealed under belly. Should I be concerned about that

If the bumper on the Grand Touring Passport is the same as the bumpers on almost every Keystone (and other RV manufacturers) RV, I would not mount a bike rack of any description on it. These bumpers are just not strong enough or adequately supported to carry any kind of additional weight.

I'd suggest that you get a hitch welded to the frame and go from there. Numerous members have done this without encountering any issues.

I have a 2013 2650 bh grand touring, and I had a two bike rack on mine and the weight bent the bumper. I would look into having a stronger bumper welded to the frame.
