What are you looking for around Houston? In town, country, near water? You working or loafing? Fancy or not?

I will second the mention of Mill Creek in Canton. It is nice.

45 minutes or so west of Dallas is Oak Creek RV Park, which is west of Weatherford, right on I-20. It is a solid park.

I don't know enough about the parks that are right in DFW to make any recommendations.

Spent 2 years full timing at Tree Tops RV park in Arlington. Best place for the money in the metroplex. If you aren't concerned about cash, there is a great park in Grapevine.

My stick house is outside Houston- lots of nice parks around. Depends on what you are looking for.

I downloaded a free, iPad app called RV Parky that works very well with a description of the park, a link to their website with Walmart and Flying J locations, and with a road map feature, too. Be worth a browse in the travel area if one has an iPad.
