RV Park near Little Rock?

We are traveling with the Grandkids from Calif to AR this summer. DD and SIL are moving to Little Rock so he can attend grad school in Conway. There seems to be a lack of nice RV parks for us to drop our Laredo 296RL for a few days, as we help them find a a place and move in. I see Catherine's Landing but that is 55 miles from southern Little Rock.

I've browsed Passport America, Good Sam, and KOA. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Yes. When we visited we stayed at The Riverside RV Park right across the river from the Clinton Presidential Library. Nothing fancy but spectacular views across the river. You can stay on a river front site for more $$ or back along the wall for less especially if you have Passport America. You can't get much closer in Little Rock. It may just be a big parking lot but I would certainly stay there again.

OK I'll try to see if they have room there. Thanks!

We often go thru Little Rock I-30/440/40 on our way to/from Indiana, and -you're correct- there's few choices south of town.
Have never stayed overnight in LR, but do keep a few places on our travel list (in case of emergency, etc).

Downtown Riverside RV, which Earl already mentioned

Willow Beach [COE Campground] Scott, AR -Little Rock area
Open all year, 21 sites (W/E), 30/50 amp, dump station, 60 ft max, pet friendly.
11692 Willow Beach Park Scott, AR 72142 Phone: 501-961-1332

I-30 RV Park (Benton, AR) which you've probably already found.

JBs RV Park & C/G (Benton, AR) too far south? I-30 at Exit 106
FHU's, 30/50 amp, pull-thru's, dump station, pet friendly.

Hope this helps,
Terri, the Chevy co-pilot

We have only stayed at the Corp park off of Hwy 10 (Cantrell Rd) in West Little Rock. They only have water and electric, no sewer or cable. You can pickup most of the local stations with just the antenna. It is a nice, clean park. Pinnacle Mountain State Park (no camping) is just down the road for the grandkids. There is a Cloud Nine RV park on US 70 going into Hot Springs, 30 or so miles southwest of Little Rock. I would not recommend I30 park in Benton.

Thank you all! I've just made reservations at the Corps park at Maumelle. Since we'll be there almost a week helping the kids, I thought this would be nicer than a concrete place.

Thanks dhn! I would have never found that lovely place, as seen by Google Earth.

Your welcome, it was clean and quite every time we stayed there. If you need information on things to do around Little Rock just send me a pm.
