Mountaineer front bay storage

Am getting ready to pick up our new 5th Wheel and have seen the under carrage drawers and also a set up in the forward big bay. Does anyone have other storage ideas ?

CCFROMFL, first of all welcome to the forum. Bushman is right, for the first several trips, you'll have enough storage and once you do make those trips, you'll probably find things you thought you'd need that have never been used and could easily be left at home. As for the undercarriage sliding drawers, they are pretty pricey. About $500 a set and they aren't that large, are not waterproof and really don't give that much storage for the money spent.

Just use what you have for now, you will probably find that you've got more storage, then you can use that extra savings for something else to put in the front storage bay

Not sure if this is what you are looking for in the way of ideas but many folks use Rubber Maid or other similar plastic bins. Getting ones that you can see through are always handy. Labels can be stuck on the outside of them or you can put your printing skills to work and use a permanent felt pen to do the job.

These bins are more or less waterproof, can be bought in various sizes, stack quite well and are quite reasonable in cost.

Big Lots, Home Depot, Dollar General, Lowes, WalMart. And probably a dozen other places to wander the aisles for storage goodies

Thanks all. We have stepped down from a 40' Motorhome. Right now we have half a garage with "stuff". We are sure as we reload that a lot of it will not be put back. We had been out on a 4 month trip (to Seattle) and found that we did not use all of the things we thought we would.
