Welcome to the forum

Brand and model of fridge? Fan inside fridge/freezer? Fan on the back of the fridge?

I get your fridge is in a slide. That fan/fans are there to help with airflow so the cooling unit can keep the fridge cold. It/they will come on when the coils at the top of the fridge reach a preset temperature.

If it/they are real loud it could be a bad fan motor, but loud is subjective.

A slide-mounted fridge is always going to run longer than a cabin mount in the heat, because it can't vent through the roof.

As Chuck stated, loud is subjective. Often when someone hears a noise it's a vibration that the wood or metal transmits and amplifies. Have you felt around to see if there's any vibration? A bug stuck on fan blade, dirt on the blades, or just the fan falling and getting repositioned can cause vibrations.

It all depends on the temp of the top row of fins on the back of the fridge.

Are you the original owner? If you are did it ever shut off and just not now? This has been a particularly hot summer. If the camper is new to you then look around and see if the fan wires are connected to a constant 12v DC source or if it's connected to a manual switch or a thermistor.

Also check you door seals and door alignment…if you have room air entering the fridge it will run forever

You can put a flashlight inside the refrigerator at night and turn out all the lights and look for any spots where the light shines through

It's possible that the snap switch at the top of the fridge at the rear is stuck on too, and this is accessed behind the top vent cover. It should be screwed to one of the fins of the cooling unit.
