Refer and AC stopped working at same time

I have a 2005 Montana I live in it full time. It is hooked up to 30 Amp power and a 100 gallon propane tank. So all of a sudden my refrigerator stopped working, I opened the door and the light was off. My AC was running but then it shut off and the green light would blink twice, go off, then blind twice again but the AC would not turn back on. And the light below the cabinet on the same side as the refer and AC ws getting really dim, then this alarm started, like a fire alarm but it wasn't. I could not figure out what was making the alarm. I turned off the cabinet light and the alarm stopped. Oh, my TV and DirectbTV box were on and working fine. It is dark now so I will wait till morning to check breakers and fuses and main power plug. Very strange but would seem to be some sort of power issue. Any other ideas? Thank you.

If you are connected to 30 amp power you must be using a 30 amp to 50 amp adapter? You might be loosing power threw the adapter? Check your breaker box and make sure you have power on both main lugs.

Your battery is dead. The lights are 12vdc and that is also required to operate the control board of the fridge and the thermostat. The alarm was likely the LP leak detector CO alarm am which is connected to the battery.

If the battery is dead then I would also check the converter. If the converter has failed then the battery may or may not be bad and need replacing as well. If you need to replace your converter then I would have the battery/batteries load tested before reconnecting them to the converter.

Also, welcome aboard! Sorry for your trouble but it led you here.

Test your converter as stated above. Make sure you connect the new battery correctly, or your converter won’t work.

^^^ this

If you're connected to shore power then your converter should be running your 12v systems, even with dead batteries. I'm suspecting that your converter is bad and new batteries will soon be dead as well.

Disconnect the battery cables and check for voltage at the battery cable with the unit plugged into the shore power. The voltage should read 13 + vdc. If there is no voltage then the converter is not working or the reverse polarity fuses are blown. The reverse polarity fuses are a pair of identical fuses typically off to themselves away from the line of fuses in the distribution panel. On some units you must remove the distribution panel cover and pull the panel out to access the converter and those fuses are mounted directly to the converter.
