Slide Switch

On occasion the big slide on the 5'er won't move. It does it whether you run it in or out. I have found that if I do a light bang on the panel near the switch it will operate. I'm thinking it's the switch, but could be loose connection or panel itself. How hard would this switch be to remove and inspect or replace??

Switches are very easy to replace. Just take the screws out that hold the panel in, then look at the back of the switch. It probably has a part number on it. Connections will be spade connectors, just move them one at a time, or better yet take a pic.

It’s all good. The forum software displays pics in landscape mode. I just craned my neck, but with enough booze on board it didn’t hurt LOL.

The switch itself can be replaced, or you can probably get the switch with labeled “housing” from list any RV parts store.

Well I was going to say no I wasn't drinking when I took those pics. I'm going to try and take some of it apart and see what's going on behind there. Hope it's just the switch and that fixes my problem. Thanks.

Just take the two squarehead #2 screws out for that particular switch out and the whole assembly will come loose. The switch itself is held into the “in/out” housing with tabs.
