Gray/black tank probes

I am having problems with sewage tank(s) level probes. They had been working fine, now only show lowest level light no matter actual level. Both went bad at the same time. I do not have a wiring diagram-is this available for these? Are they float switches, prox switch, capacitor type sensors?
Trailer is a 2008 Hideout 26BH.
Another question-flush valve ball often does not return to fully closed after flushing-is there an adjustment in the packing or is some sort of cleaning needed?
Just got back from 5800 mile trip out west, have put about 12K miles of travel on this trailer since buying in March of 2016. Overall it was well worth the money, just trying to learn how things work to keep it maintained.
Thanks,
PR
