How to add a 2nd battery to 2014 Laredo 291TG

Hey all,

Like the title says ... has anyone added a 2nd battery to this rig or a rig that has the same style front end?

Thanks,
John

I'm guessing you have the newer frontcap with the batteries hidden inside.
My older 2010 model has the older fiberglass frontcap with a double battery tray outside of it behind the propane tanks.

Yeah ... the battery is in front of the fiberglass cap that covers the propane tanks which makes if very hard to add another battery from what I can see.

Some have welded a larger battery tray with a bigger battery box. Another option is just to upgrade your Group 24 (75AH)to a Group 27 (90AH) or larger.

Either one of these options would entail mounting the bracket on the TOP of the tongue between the power jack and propane compartment which might make access to the tanks difficult.
