Water filter and Sliding Door Lock - Fuzion 371

Finally took the first trip this weekend with the Fuzion 371. I have a few questions. 1. Does anyone know if the 371 has a water filter? If it does then where is it? 2. How do you close and lock the back sliding door? Here is the locking mechanism pic. 3. In the main bathroom there is a light switch that the led is not glowing while in the OFF position. When you turn the switch for the over head light then the switch itself glows blue. Is that the intention or is the switch wired wrong? I would think you would want a glowing light switch to find it in the dark.

There is no water filter on the 371. I use one of those that you hook in-line to the water hose.

You lock mechanism appears to be bent. It should hook over to the other side and should be in the shape of a "7".

Not sure about your switch, I don't remember a LED switch in my bathroom so that might be something new.

Thank you gilpinbrewer. I bet it bent when the bed lifted up. Makes sense now. I will check out the water filters that connect to the hose. Great tip. I will also play around with the switch. Make the switch led turn on when the light is off.

I gave up on the RV inline water filters as being too expensive. At Lowe's you can get the brass fittings to adapt the standard male and female garden hose ends to 1/4" pipe threads. You can buy 5 ice maker filters for the price of 2 RV filters. I have not noticed any decrease in water flow when taking a shower or toilet filling. After a trip, I can toss out the filter and not worry about tossing out a $Jackson$.

The bathroom light in my Raptor 325 glows blue when off, so you can see in the dark...maybe wired backwards

Looks just like our new 371😄. We are getting ready for our second outing with it tomorrow. It is home from storage in the driveway right now... Wish we did not have the HOA, I would love to keep it home all the time...

You figured out the sliding door thing it sounds like, and bent it back into shape. We too just use one of the inline filters too. Our old trailer had one built in, but I switched to the inline ones on that one too. Less costly.

Yes, the blue light on the switch is on when the swith is in the off position. I would just ask the dealer (if convenient) to fix it. If not, it should not be a difficult fix as a DIY project.

Learning new things and making small mods to make it "ours"... I did discover there is a propane connection under the couch slide to hook a grill up to... Learned a little too late, bought a small 5 lb bottle to use with the grill. Nice to know that connection is there...

@Larry1013, do you use both the water regulator and filter or can the filter itself act to decrease the pressure?

@Zapper - Thanks, I will dig into it. Two month wait to get in to see service where I bought it. I am a DIY guy.

@VAJeff - If I remember right in our walk through, they guy told us that you can't connect an ordinary BBQ to it because it has a regulator on it. He mentioned ordering an RV BBQ. I bet you can find the regulator and remove it if you wanted to bring your own.
