Leveling System
Looking at a new Fifth Wheel with the factory 4 point level-up system. Is it worth the expense and is it reliable? Thanks Chino

Initial reaction is yes. I have the 6 point system and love it, many others do as well. There are several different types of systems out there. Do a search on this forum and you will find the different systems have been discussed before.

We love the 4 point auto level system that came with our Cougar. Worth every penny in our opinion. Like bsmith said, if you do a search there are a couple other threads on this that will give you more info.

My only complaint with mine is I can't see the back of the truck or the jack on the drivers side while running the control panel.
One of the things on my off season list is to see if I can add a remote to the system to make it easier to use.

If you're looking at 4 point Lippert 3.0 jacks (round jacks) this will help:

We have had it 3 months. No problem yet.

With the 6 point leveling system do you still need the support system under the king pin? I have ordered a 6 point leveling system to have it installed they have to send the 5th wheeler back to Keystone in Indiana.

We have the Lippert 6 way leveling system on our 2014 Montana. I push the button and go ahead and hookup water, power and sewer while the fifth-wheel levels itself. It usually finishes before I do. It is well worth whatever extra it costs.
