Welcome mima. We've never owned a Cougar, so I can't help with that, but here's a suggestion --

When buying a pre-owned RV (any brand/manufacturer), check for any previous recalls.
You can find them on the Manuf site: http://www.keystonerv.com/customer-s...-notifications

Good luck with your decision,
Terri, the Chevy co-pilot

Most fifth wheels are one foot higher than most travel trailers, this makes a difference in fuel used. Travel trailers are also on one level you dont have a bedroom two steps higher that the rest of the coach this is easier to cool. Fifth wheels are inherently more stable
because of more pin weight ( hitch weight) which is also located the centerpoint of the rear axel. That being said there have been many improvements in TT towing due to improved hitches and spread axel configurations and most importantly education.

Love the floorplan on the 327res. We had a hard time deciding between that or our 313rli. It came down to length & the shower. We also traded up from a TT & love the extra space inside! Good luck with your pending purchase. There are several 327 owners on the forum who can give you more detailed info, but so far we absolutely love our cougar.

Love our 327 RES. It is just the DW and me. Love the floor plan. It works for us.
