HELP! Qs about a Riverside Retro 189r

2 questons:

1- I have a 2015 chevy colorado Z71 Can I realistically pull this trailer? I dont want engine issues or to only be going 20mph.

2- The inside does not have the cafe table/bench combo. someone took it out. I imagine they took it out to open up more space which is nice. I can put on a comfy chair and a bar under the window with a stool. Will I have an issue with resale or upgrade not having the original in there?

Is $21K too much with that missing....I could tell them I need a price adjustment for missing table/chair.....Thank you! soon to be a new owner and truly a newbie at ALL of this!

Here is a link to the trailer in question;

https://goriversiderv.com/retro-189/

Note that the gvwr will be 7360lbs. for a trailer that's not quite 24' long. You don't say what engine is in the Colorado but I'm assuming the V6. At less than 270lbs. of torque it will have a terrible time of pulling that trailer. If you tow it much you WILL have engine/transmission issues.

IMO you need to look at a different trailer. That one is very heavy for as short as it is. You need to be looking at something in the 4k lbs. gvwr range I personally think. I have a vehicle that has more torque than your Colorado and I would never dream of putting even a 4k lb. trailer behind it.

Danny, I looked at the Riverside website and saw the camper in question was 3750 lbs with a 3610 lb payload (CCC). That just doesn't pass the smell test. That is more payload capacity than many much larger campers. Even though that is a 2 axle camper, the axle rating is 3500 lbs. on 14" tires. They claim the hitch weight is 360 lbs. Something is not adding up for me.

I didn't look back but I believe it said it had 2 3500lb. axles which would then support that 73xx weight. I don't know where you would put over 3k lbs. of cargo in that trailer but without specs from the OP on the particular trailer it's all I found. I do think the numbers don't sound right but ??
