The "tall curved kitchen faucets" will drip a couple of drops after they are turned off. It may take 30 minutes or so before those "final drops" eventually make it thorough the aerator. You usually don't/won't notice them if the faucet drips into the sink, but put the cutting board/sink covers in place and in 10 or 15 minutes, you'll likely see a drop of two of water that hadn't yet run down from the "top of the curved pipe"....
It's normal, happens at home too, just put a paper towel under the faucet at home and you'll see a drop or two of water after a few minutes.
The same thing happens with a glass or a bottle of water. Dump it out, then wait a few seconds, turn it upside down and you'll most often get another drop or two of what was in the glass.
