Battery switch
Installed a battery cutoff switch today. Nothing fancy, just mounted on the backside of the battery box.

Working on adding internal and external RJ45 connectors so I don't need to run the Starlink cable through the slide or an exterior door.
Modified the cable itself yesterday and tested it...works *great*.
Today I'll be putting an exterior jack and waterproof cover on the slide external storage compartment, routing a cat6 cable, and putting a mount behind the TV in the entertainment center (back wall is the interior wall of the storage compartment). Once that's done the router will be permanently mounted in the middle of the rig w/no need to disconnect or unplug it.

Was this to me? Finding brown was no problem -- Home Depot was lousy with them -- but every single outlet choice other than the GFI (which I didn't want and couldn't use anyway) had the
child safety shutters. Oddly, I did look through Amazon before driving out to Home Depot, and found exactly the same experience. It's the end of another era I suppose.
I saw a meme the other day that said, "In the 1950s, an automobile user manual told you how to adjust the valves. Today, the manual tells you not to drink the windshield washer fluid."

Discovered you can no longer get brown (non-GFI) outlets without the "kid safe" shutter-block feature. I wasn't happy, but so far they seem to be accessible with no hitch.

Found several old style standard 15 amp brown receptacles on eBay for sale. Lowest was $1.76. One vendor was selling boxes of 10. I used “brown receptacle” as search.

Those are the old style (1960s center screw) receptacles. HD has those. Keystone installs Decoras and I wanted them to match.

Nothing exciting... On our first trip of the season, we lost out propane cover hinged lid and the spare tire cover on the highway somewhere, the 7 pin trailer harness decided to loose it's ground connection, and the CO detector came to it's end of life and started the annoying beeping. Replaced all of them!

I added some doors to access the under bed storage.
Beats holding up the mattress while DW is deciding which pair of shoes she wants.

That's exactly what I did. We can barely lift the mattress so it was dead space. Looks like you also used the cutouts for a door panel and made a frame. Nice work

2nd AC Install
Finished this today as had to find my torque wrench. As put in another note I had a surprise installing this as there was a random roof vent (no roof hole) installed on the roof in the way of the footprint of this "prewired AC". This was removed and patched.
The only other item is that I changed out the RV type of junction box for a household box. Went smoothly. For Dometic AC's I read you need a gasket for the root and ordered one...but they are already installed on the unit.
Additionally, I was sent the wrong internal distribution box. I'm glad I cross referenced the numbers prior to opening and installing...but it left for a week of a tarp on the roof of the trailer!

I heard a tiny dancer above the ceiling late last night. He's a persistent little b*d, having already taken out a clearance light, a ceiling light, and a furnace control cable, the last of which took me over a year to diagnose and fix.
I unscrewed three widely-spaced puck lights from the ceiling, and recut the wire feed holes behind them just enough larger and squarer to fit a nice, tasty block of Tomcat bait.
Enjoy tonight's buffet, Mickey, and I'll see you in .

First off, it's one of those "the rodent leaves the space to find water" baits.
But even if not, this isn't a problem in desert Arizona.
We have rodents die in our residence attic all the time.
They smell for maybe 36 hours.
A week or so later, we get a two-day festival of blowflies.
When they're gone, everything is back to status quo.
11% humidity covers a multitude of sins.

When I gotta go to the George Jetson Online Antique Emporium in order to find something, I think I can safely say, "no longer available in stores!"

George Jetson and undefeated rat terrier have been duly added to an already impressive resumé.

Looks like a plan for more space for me and my work boots.Well, the wife's (as she is looking over my shoulder) helps her out as well ?
I had been thinking of what to do to maximize the little space we have, now I do.
Thank you all! It is greatly appreciated.

My 24RDS came with a bath vanity that had the faucet on the side of the sink instead of behind the sink. To make matters worse, it was a dinky little faucet that barely reached into the sink. I HATE that. My old TT had the same stupid design and I ended up making a whole new bath cabinet ( 3.5" deeper) so that I could move the faucet behind the sink where it belonged.
I didn't want to go thru that again. The 24RDS vanity cabinet is an odd shape and there really isn't any room to expand on it. Sooooooooo . . . after much searching and googling I finally found a faucet with an extended spout - - 8 inches of spout. Now at least I get the water near the center of the basin where you can actually get your hands under it and accomplish something. And it looks pretty good, too, I think.
Before and after pics:
(the before pic is actually a screen grab from the internet. I didn't take a pic before I swapped them out)
