Toilet angle?

I understand that sometimes toilets are angled to fit better in a corner or to give more room to pass by. But ours doesn't have either of those situations or anything else I can think of. In fact, I'm considering looking for an elongated model to replace it. It's not a big angle but the OCD in me is a bit bothered by it.

Would it be possible for me to loosen it and rotate it a few degrees? Or would that muck up a bunch of seals, etc.?

In order to rotate the toilet, you would have to rotate the floor flange. The flange is screwed to the floor and may or may not rotate.

The flanges that I have dealt with USUALLY have slots to adjust the angle and used T bolts that slide in those slots.

If you go to Home Depot, they sell re-usable gaskets (vs the wax ones) that work pretty well.



Two bolts, new gasket and depending how far you turn it, a new water line are all you need to mess with.
