Unhappy counter top

Our counter top is fiber glass made to look like corian. Problem DW placed the slow cooker on it and it has turned a grey color from the black in an oval shape under it. Does anyone have any ideas how I can repair short of getting a whole new counter top.

Unfortunately, the only hope is to replace it. Sorry DW, the stain on these counter tops is not something that can be rubbed/buffed out. The counter tops in the new units which are a molded form of composites, don't take to stains like corian or some other solid material. However, if it were mine I would give it the ol' college try and use some rubbing compound with a buffer and try to buff it out and follow it up with some wax. Good Luck, Sam
