Bug screens are somewhat controversial among RV'ers, especially for the furnace. Generally speaking, the manufacturer would have put a finer (mesh) screen if it was safe to do so.
I'm certain you will be inundated with posts by owners who "have done it for years." Yep, probably while towing their Montana with Tow-Max tires, behind their Toyota Tacoma. ( just a little Sunday humor)
The risk is your furnace overheating because of poor air circulation. I'm not saying not to buy the screens, just that you invite big problems on a new RV. If you choose to screen the furnace vent, pull the furnace fuse at the box so that when it is time to warm up the RV you will also remember to remove the screen while the furnace is in use.
