Need help Identifying a plumbing part

I recently started to smell a sewer odor from my outdoor sink while away last week. I took apart the fittings I could see but did not see anything wrong. There was a fellow RV'er with the exact model as mine and I asked if I could take a look at his setup.. Turns out there is a rubber gas stop (circular on one end and flat on the other ) that was installed in his sink.. I am missing this part..

Does anyone know what this part is called?

TT is a Premier bullet 31 bhpr

Are you describing the "auto vent"?

This is the "Cheater Vent" that is used in most trailers. Inexpensive and easy to replace.

It is actually in the elbow of the sink. There is no p trap only this part. From what I can tell it is white silicon. The open end was the same diameter of the pipe, the opposite end was flat. It opened and closed as water flowed...

They have been around for a while but I have not heard of Keystone using them. Maybe it was a dealers way of solving a problem and added aftermarket.

I read your post too fast and did not catch "outdoor". It is a form of check valve/trap that keeps fluids from coming out of the sink while traveling or when the holding tank is full. If your gray tank fills without this in place you may have serious water problem. Be sure to empty the tank before traveling. Good luck, Hank
