Heat strip for a/c

I have a 2012 cougar 29rbk and thinking of adding a heat strip to the a/c. Has anyone done this?

I added one a few years ago and to me it is a waste of money. the A/C moves so much air the air feels cool and it takes for ever and ever to get any heat from it. I would buy small heaters and plug into 110V instead.

The a/c unit in the garage of my unit has the heat strip in it and works well.

I put the heat strip in the A/C in my pop-up.

It was worthless. The cooling from the air movement more than countered the heat from the strip.

I got much better results from a cheap small portable heater.
