Coleman-Mach AC Voltage draw

I have an Airxcel 48000 on my 2013 27rkws Cougar.
We were having some electrical issues at our house, after resolving them I have 119 volts on my voltmeter, I am plugged into a 30amp outlet.
My question is when the A/C is running I am only showing 103-105 volts on my voltmeter, which seems like an excessive drop.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance

What type of cord is going from the camper from the 30a plug? Also, what gauge wire is feeding the 30a outlet?

Wire sizes and length of the conductor play a big deal with voltage drops.

What type of electrical problems did you have in your house? Do you have the same voltage drop at an outlet inside your house when the AC in the camper is running?

There is no voltage drop in the house. I amusing the 25ft. cord and a 50 foot extension which I presume are the correct wire gauge since they were purchased from CW.
I thought the drop might be from the length of the cord, but?

There's a lot more knowledgeable people here than I am on electricity. I don't know your level of electrical knowledge or skill, and mine is limited to some basics. There are some good electricians here.

The cord you are using "should" be ok, but confirm that it is 10 gauge. It should be stamped on the outside of the cord.

That being said, I would start looking at places where there might be a bad, corroded or loose connection. Do any of the plugs feel warm after running the AC for a while? Check all the cords spades for corrosion and/or discoloration.

I would start at the 30A wall plug and measure the voltage right at the plug with the AC running. This means sticking the probes of the meter in past the plug to contact the spades of the cable(and are you willing and able to do that?). If everything is ok there, then go to the next plug(between the two cables) and try it again, looking for the voltage drop.

Next spot would probably be where the cable connects to your trailer, and will probably require you to pull or open up the power panel in the trailer. Lots of reports on this forum of loose connections behind this panel.

All of the above is assuming that the AC is running ok, and not drawing too much power. An amp meter would tell that fairly quickly...

That's my 2 cents.

Hopefully, one of the sparkys here will jump in with a lot more info.

I haven't seen answeres to the first question yet. So here's some more.

What were the issues and what was done to correct it?

Did it ever work without a voltage drop before or is the first time connecting?

How far is the 30 amp outlet on the house to the distrihution panel where the 30 amp breaker is?

Is this 30 amp outlet on the house new?

What other 120 vac loads are running in the camper? Are you running ghe fridge and water heater on 120 vac as well?

Your using 30 amp 25 foot rv cord and a 50 ft Extension cord if the 50 footer isn’t 10 gage wire I’m betting that’s your voltage drop .

Update.
Thank you for your replies.
We found that the problem was in the house, the connector for the wires going to the 30V plug was bad and caused a loose connection which burnt the wires. Fortunately for us the wires were in a junction box so the arcing was contained and there was no threat to the house.

Glad you found and fixed it before any real damage occurred.
