License Plate Bracket

I did a search but could not find a thread on this. How do you mount a license plate on the plastic bracket that is also mounted right up against the body of the TT ?

Seems sort of silly not only to have a plastic bracket, but to have it attached to the body of the TT.

If you loosen the screws holding the bracket, you should be able to put a bolt in from the back side. We used 1/4 20 bolts 2” long.
