Maxxair Deluxe reviews

Hi all. I am contemplating replacing the 2 vents in our trailer. I am looking at the Maxxair Deluxe line. The poor Amazon reviews seem to mostly center around bad circuit boards. Granted that the 1 and 2 star reviews make up only 14% of all the reviews and the 4 and 5 are 83%. It just seems that I have been having issues with poor quality electronics lately and would like some input from those that actually use the product.

We have a Passport ROV 170RKRV that has 2 vents, a powered one by Ventline in the wet bath and a plain one in the living area just ahead of the kitchen. The one in the kitchen has a light just ahead of it by about 2 inches where I can source 12V power.

Couple of questions.

1) The units require 12V 5 Amp service. Can the wiring at the lights handle the load?

2) Can I get on the roof of the trailer without fear of falling through or doing damage to the trailer?

I am thinking the 6401K for the bath and the 6200K for the living area.

Thanks for your input.

Stuart
