Thermostat

I have 2 dogs and live in Fl.. We are worried about the ac cutting out when we are at the beach .. can we replace the thermostat with a smart one that we can monitor with our phone and can we do it ourselves.. Happy 4th

We use a NEST camera and put a thermometer in view. Can watch the dogs and temps and anyone dumb enough to enter. Don't lock the door so emergency crews can get to them, yes a note on door letting them know there are 2 dogs inside.

We also use a security camera (blink) system with a thermometer in view.
Hate to leave fido at home, but sometimes you have to.
We like to befriend our neighbor campers and let them know we will be leaving our pooch, if and when we do, and also tell them not to hesitate to let them out, should there be an emergency.
