Lipp1116 adjustment

I am wondering if I can drop my pin box. My hitch is at the highest. I need a few more inches of clearance and still being level I should have room to drop my pin box. Only problem is I will only have 2 of the bolts in each side going thru the bracket that is welded to frame. Would still have 6 per side. Is that acceptable. It seems like it would be. Just need some opinions on this. Thanks. I tried uploaded a pic. Hope it worked. Thanks

Dropping the pin box you should still have 5 bolts on each side, right? If so you should be fine. Don’t forget to torque the bolts with the trailer hooked up.

Tighten them, then hook up. Then do the final torque, 240 lb/ft if I remember right. We use a 1/2” drive impact.

Ok. Thanks. I’ll give it a try this week and see how it goes.
