Old man, park road, no trailers; OH NO!

Some may have seen this but I had not. Since many, if not most, of us may be classified in the "old man" category, thought this might be of interest. Just need to stay away from narrow tunnels I suspect.

I have seen it, but it's still worth watching again!

I suspect he was trying to get to or from Spokane Creek and didn't realize he was on the wrong road for that rig.

Also saw this some time ago. There is a sign cautioning this type of vehicle from using the road. S--t happens.

I've driving this road a few times towing my teardrop and even towing that made that for a pretty tough curve
It can be a pretty busy road in the summertime and I don't think that I'd tow a TT on it as I'd really slow down the traffic that's behind me.

Don't ever be afraid to back out of a bad situation.

You know, I don't have the foggiest how something like this could happen, and I would be sick and beyond embarrassed, but, you have to feel sorry for the guy............

My friend had this happen with her Motorhome last summer. Ripped the entire door & stair case off. They had to climb out the emergency window (she said at 60+ this was not easy at all) and it cost over $10k to fix :'( They're back up and running again though, happily camping for a month in AZ... I can't wait to be retired.

Driving defensively means more to me than watching out for other drivers. I drive in fear of missing a low bridge sign, or the like.

Well I would guess much like a guest we had while hosting. Once I talked to the guy, I was scared to death, nice about 32' 5er and Ram TV. Basically stated he couldn't back up!! Had reserved the only open pull through in our loop, didn't want to drive into the welcome center as it looked to tight to him. I think many who pull 5er's and TT lack the basic skills to do so!!
Years ago I drove into a dead end on the WSU campus looking for a dry camp spot for Apple Cup. I ended up having to back out two blocks to turn around.

I used to live in Rockerville, not far from there. Every year it never fails, there is always someone driving a rig where they shouldn't.

I do wonder exactly where he was on the road. Obviously he'd been through one tunnel. Not sure it got much better for him going forward.
