Yikes! From what I remember from the days of camping in the California deserts, the Mojave Green is one of the deadliest. Definitely bring the Judge next time!

We sure enjoyed staying at Orange Grove RV Resort in Bakersfield, CA. How fun to be able to walk right out and pick an orange for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack in between!  We stayed here November & December 2015. The temperatures were great this time of year.

We looked up what kind of snake it was, after we dispatched him.
Things could have turned out a lot worse, the closest hospital was 80+ miles away.

Camped Vererans Weekend at Normandy Farms in Massachusetts. Just arrrived before sunset. It was a great weekend! We went to the dog park many times, went for a hike, had friends visit for their birthday, went for a run in the mornings, cooked some garlicky chicken for dinner, took a ride to explore etc..
