Howdy All;
Last winter in Central Ut. we did some of the -40 nights and warmer -20 days...
Tried one of those Piret hoses. Lasted 2 days. called the guy an he sent a new one overnight. it burned thru soon as the temp got into the +20's.
Whent to wal-mart got a 25' camper white hose. got a 30' heat tape.
Used elect. tape to hold the 2 together. also picked up some of the foam hose insulation ( with the slit), popped that over the rest spileled the tape (elect. type) down the length. Next batch of - 20 ,30 or whatever it was cooold. no problems. The extra heat tape I used to run along the spigot (3/4" riser with "T" and 2 spigots about 18"- 20" tall), which the Park had inside a chunk of 12" PVC pipe that was stuffed with the "pink" stuff and had a cover over the top.
For my sewer I used some 3" black PVC pipe. Valterra has some fittings that will help 'adapt' for our special needs. No insulation just on the "Sunny" (radient heat ... it were free), side of the trailer.
