I was walking past the camper to go to the garage and I heard a sound coming from inside the camper ,checked and found carbon monoxide alarm beeping removed the battery and it kept on beeping, removed from wall and its hard wired ,Is it 110v with a battery back up or what,The date on it says its good till 2020 before it needs to be replaced

These things are notorious for failing. Ive had to change them in pretty much every RV I've owned, except the current one, but its only a couple years old. Obviously this time of year it should not be going off since your main source of carbon monoxide is the furnace, which I doubt you're running now.

I carry a good battery operated one (or two) for this reason. I also have had problems with the smoke alarms going off for no reason whatsoever. Replace them with a good one and no more headaches.

The CO detector, which is mounted on the wall of the bedroom in our rig, is only battery operated, and it failed at maybe two years old, and like yours, way sooner than the date on the back. I just went online and ordered another of the same, and it is holding up very well. Some time after dealing with the CO detector, the propane detector woke us up late one night. There was no gas, vented the trailer with no change. Ended up just cutting the wires to it and purchased a new one the next day. There is no telling what the outgassing of all the materials in these rigs does to the sensors in these detectors.

Are the wires going to it for any other sensors or is it hard wired with a battery back up and is it 110v?

I haven't really looked at the book that came with mine. I've just replaced the batteries each spring. When we first bought the camper it was chirping. It had been sitting unused for two years. Found out from following the chirps that that their are a couple of remote sensors that double as a small speaker. I would guess that is where the wires on the back of yours are going.
