Where is water pump-2011 Cougar 318SAB

Have a 2011 Cougar 318SAB.
Anyone know where the water pump is and how to get at it?

I am not having a problem with it, but I feel it is important to know where it is.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Phil

mine is behind the center panel in the basement. you must remove the panel to even see it. to do that you cant have anything in the way. empty out your basement. I am going to buy some tubing(plumbing) and put a by-pass valve in and then all I would have to remove the small panel that is behind the water hookup area. and it also allows you to bypass the HWH. Just offering a suggestion.

Water pump

I bought a winterizing bypass kit from CW only to find that it did not have the right fittings. Guess I'll have to cut and splice the water tank line.

jerseyphil, Howdy;

Put some water in the tank turn on the pump, open a tap, follow the sound...

That's how I found mine...

You have the same as mine, go on the left side of the basement remove the 4 screws in the center panel and it is behind that panel. The water heater bypass is next to the center panel in the corner.
