If you are hearing the fan as soon as you turn on the first DC electric
device I would have the battery checked, the fan shouldn't come on
right away. I found out the hard way. Cost me 2 new batteries, mine
had fried during a hot Summer. The worse shape the batteries are in
the harder the converter has to work.
