Soft Start RV is worth it. Lowers starting and running amps.
I can actually run 2 AC’s with a 3500 watt Predator generator. With SoftStartRV installed running 1 AC from batteries over inverter is less power usage.
SoftStartRV is less strain on your AC.

Thank you all for the replies, based on your comments looks like there’s more benefit than harm using a soft start, I’ll get them for both my units and I’ll just upgrade the factory 200 watt solar to a 1200 watt solar panel setup with 4 200ah batteries. That should keep me going. Only thing I’m debating is if I should go with a 12, 24 or 48 volt battery bank and add a DC to DC converter with the higher volt bank, I know I’ll have 9600 watt hours regardless of setup but I’m worried about the current draw from running the 12 volt hydraulic pump on 6 point level jacks and slide out, wondering if I’ll cause any harm to that pump motor unless I find a reliable 48 to 12 volt converter capable of handling such a load, haven’t done much research on that yet, perhaps have one dedicated 12 volt battery for that setup only, I don’t know, maybe I’m over complicating things too much.
Any advices will be appreciated
