2014 Fuzion 331 roof leak

I just purchased my new 2014 fuzion 331 chrome from my dealer this past April and am now touring the country this summer. Everything had been going great until today. I just got finished setting up in my campsite in San Antonio and putting the AC. After about an hour, I went up into the bedroom and noticed water pouring out of the light over the bed onto the bed soaking it! I immediately shut off the AC (which is right above the bed) and went up on the roof. I noticed where the condensation drips out of the AC onto the roof that the vinyl split (see pics). The water was going under the vinyl and right onto the plywood roof. The vinyl has all bubbled as a result of the water running under it. It must have saturated the wood enough to drip through and onto the roof inside the rv thus causing it to leak through the light. Thank God it's still under warranty but I'm really concerned about the damage it caused. Especially a major issue like this and it's not even 6 months old! I temporarily sealed the tears with gorilla tape until I can get to my parent's house in FLA hoping it will hold. I'm really disappointed with the quality of the roof, get poor design. I hope they can fix it quick so I can continue my vaca.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

You and I are both dealing with the same issue, the only difference is that my carbon was only 2 weeks old. It is absolutely evident to me that something in the manufacturing process is defunct. My entire third of my roof came up beginning at the front cap and tore back. They had to remove the entire roof covering which will rip up the osb that is below. I just looked at the new roof yesterday and it looks horrible! Totally uneven, air pockets already, different material used, and there is no way I will ever be able to resell it down the road. Keystone approved the repairs but beware especially in your case the lasting effects of water damage. I am headed down the lemon law lawyer route unfortunately because of it. I pick up my fifth wheel tomorrow, i will add pictures to my posting under service and warranty issues forum. My thread is posted under "Carbon 327". Sucks to be us!

Your tear along the A/C unit is from the roof membrane ballooning up from the decking when you are driving down the highway. The bubble created is big enough to rub the roof material against the A/C unit or anything else it comes in contact with. When you stop, the bubble lays flat and all you see is a tear or wear spot on your roof. Luckily you have warranty to cover a new roof.

I purchased the Keystone 2012 Fuzion and have experienced this exact problem as evident in the posted photos. The RV's currently not under warranty, and have no expectations of recourse from Keystone. Other than a total membrane replacement, how can I permanently repair this? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

MN Roger you may want to repost this as a new thread rather than trying to resurrect an old one that is almost 3 years old. You'll be more likely to get help with your issue that way. Post it in either the Toy Hauler section or the technical section. The Warranty section will not help you much.

Welcome to the forum from Kansas City, MO! I hope this helps with your issue.

I'm at a loss as to how to start a new thread within the tech area. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Just open the first Keystone Forums tab. Then scroll down to the technical corner and click on it. In the upper left there will be a box that says "new thread", click on it, give your topic a title, type away and submit!!

I went ahead and closed this old thread as the new poster has successfully posted a new thread in a more appropriate area.
