No tires are not rated for the same weight at lower pressures. Some tire manufacturers will give a load rating at different pressures and some will simply say to always use max psi listed on the side of the tire. Here is a link to the Sendel site. Sendel provides the majority of the wheels on RVs. If you can find your wheel, you can find the specs that it's rated for. It's still good to check the backside of the rim for the actual information that is stamped on the wheel. Some of the more popular brands that people have had good luck with are Maxxis and Carlisle. Figure out what your wheel specs are, the weight of your RV and then find a decent tire that meets the needs. Look for a tire that will give you about 20% extra capacity. For example, if your RV has 10,000 lbs weight on wheels, you have approximately 2,500 per tire. I say approximately, because load on each tire will vary based on trailer design and how your gear is loaded. So to get the 20% extra capacity, you would need a tire rated for 3,000. This should at least get you started.
